Timothy M. Fisk

A partner and co-owner of the firm, Tim earned his law degree from the Liberty University School of Law in 2010, where he received the Juvenile and Family Law Award and the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section Certificate of Achievement. More recently, Tim has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Liberty University School of Law. Tim earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1984. He has practiced with the firm since 2010.

 

Prior to entering the practice of law, Tim’s work experience spanned careers in small business entrepreneurship, community banking, and distinguished military service. For several years preceding his legal studies, Tim managed a local hardware store that he founded in 1993. In 2007, he sold his interest in the Chatham, Virginia business, which has remained in continuous operation since. 

 

Tim is responsible for the firm’s business law practice and is experienced in several fields of civil litigation and transactional matters, including family law and real estate. A member of the Local Government Attorneys of Virginia, Inc., he also has broad experience in local government practice and serves as the primary town attorney for the Town of Chatham. Tim has also served as Pittsylvania County’s Commissioner of Accounts since 2013. He is licensed to practice in the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.

 

Tim lives in Chatham, Virginia with his wife Jeanie, a physical therapist. They are the proud parents to three adult children and two grandchildren.
